o scrisoare catre ISIS din partea oamenilor crucii

A Letter from the People of the Cross to ISIS

The world is talking about you
Your apocalyptic dreams and spectacular sins
Are now awakening the middle east
In your holy war, come to holy ground
Come children of Abraham come
The people of the cross gathers at your gates with a message

Love is coming after you.
Like a rush of wind grazing over the pacific
From hills of the mount of olives to the desert winds of Jordan
From the cedars of lebanon to the silk roads of the East
An army comes. With no tanks or soldiers
But an army of martyrs faithful unto death
Carrying a message of life
The people of the cross
Comes to die at your gates.
If you wont hear our message with words
Then we will show you with our lives
Laid down.

For every throat you slit and every woman you rape
For every man you burn and every child you turn to dust
There is blood on your hands brother

But Come Brothers Come

Come with your bloodstained hands,
Come with your eyes full of murder for the people of the Cross,
Come lay your guns and your knives at the foot of the cross
A love that is overdue and overwhelming
Breathes through your cities

Though your sins are like scarlet
They can be washed white as snow
Though you call yourselves servants
He will make you into Sons
Where can you run from His love?
Even the darkness cannot hide you

Come Brothers Come
There is the sound of a rushing rain
To remove your sins and bind your wounds
You die for your god but our God died for us
The King of Kings comes to be the sacrificial lamb
Slain on the altar where we should have been
Jesus Christ, Isa Al Masih
Walks through the Middle East

There is forgiveness tonight oh brother
There is healing for your sins oh brother
We are no different.
Apart from Christ, we are no better than the worst jihadist
Christ has been crucified once. and for All.
To make sinners like you and me into brothers
Even you.
Even now.

speranta ce trece prin moarte

You gave me hope
You made me whole
At the cross
You took my place
You showed me grace
At the cross where You died for me

In vremuri ca acestea pe care le traversam avem nevoie de:

  • crestini ce au convingeri ferme si stapanesc arta de de a raspunde unor intrebari incomode (poate chiar rautacioase) venite dinspre jurnalisti.
  • crestini ce pot fi fermi in convingerile credintei lor fara a fi pugilisti in lupta cu vanturile;
  • crestini ce pot sustine discutii si controverse pe baze biblice avand comptente in domeniul bunelor maniere(buna crestere) demonstrand dragoste pentru toti oamenii indiferent de preferintele lor sexuale;
  • crestini ce pot explica diferenta intre a refuza prestarea unui serviciu din considerente religioase si principiul general al discriminarii;
  • crestini ce pot expune devastatorul bigotism instrumentat de activistii homosexuali impotriva celor ce nu sunt de acord cu ei;

Trade Your Shades!

A Moody Publishers initiative:

The month of February hasn’t been about romance; it has been about sex. Fifty Shades of Grey has dominated headlines in both Christian and secular media. Many pastors and Christian leaders have been shocked to learn that Christian women are just as likely to be engaged in Fifty Shades as women of no faith. What does this tell us about Christian women?

For starters, Christian women are sexual. This may seem like an obvious statement, but it is one that has been largely ignored by the church. Women have sexual desires, longings, temptations, and wounds that are often concealed underneath a Sunday school smile. I believe many are flocking to Fifty Shades because it seems to validate their sexuality.

This movement also shows us that Christian women are very confused. My job at Authentic Intimacy is to teach women about God’s design for sex. Everywhere I go, I get heartfelt and pain-filled questions about porn, sexual abuse, homosexuality, lack of sexual desire, cohabitation, and what’s ok in the bedroom. In their confusion, women are very easily deceived by the latest counterfeit.

Paul told Timothy that in the end days, women would be easily “swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth” (2 Tim. 3:7). Many women who love God have no practical theology of sex. Even if they make good decisions for themselves, they cannot articulate the “why” to their children and friends.

The Lordship of Christ means that He is Lord in every area of life, even the most intimate. Therefore, we are committed to discipling women in their sexuality. Why? So that “the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in faith and in the knowledge of God and become mature” (Eph. 4:12-13). Will you join us?

Help women in your ministry discover God’s true design for sexuality. For the rest of this month Trade Your Shades!

I just got a letter from Kevin Costner

BLACK OR WHITE – Letter to Faith Leaders

Dear Friend,

I want to share with you a very special film, BLACK OR WHITE, that is close to my heart. It has been exciting to watch this film spark a variety of conversations in communities across the country. Make no mistake, as in life, BLACK OR WHITE has an edge to it. But it is a story that portrays an honest and authentic bite of life in the non-politically correct way in which we need to have this conversation in order to move our country and society forward. I believe this film will appeal to people of faith—and anyone concerned with race relations and the state of the family in America today.

In BLACK OR WHITE I play a man who loses both his daughter and wife in unexpected tragedies and becomes the guardian of his biracial granddaughter. My friend Octavia Spencer plays the paternal grandmother who initiates a custody battle that brings prejudices and substance abuse issues to the surface. It’s a riveting story that I feel can offer some useful insights and raise some important questions in this time of racial discord in our culture. The movie features many wonderful performances and opens in theaters across the country on January 30th.

BLACK OR WHITE relates positive messages about the true meaning of “family” and what it looks like, about being there for your children, about self-sacrifice and forgiveness. It speaks to “the Cross” in our lives and how we must rely on God’s grace rather than alcohol or drugs. For me, BLACK OR WHITE is more than just a movie; it’s an emotional meditation on character, empathy and selfcontrol. The turbulent relationships between the characters vying for custody of the child speak to the difficulties of living a life of Christian charity, humility and peace. Given recent events in New York City, Ferguson, Missouri, and around the country, I hope my film can be a bridge-building vehicle to help people explore the complicated issues at the heart of the film. The film shows how we fall and then get back up again. It urges us to stay strong and maintain hope in face of adversity, because God always gives us a new day.

I would like to invite you and your key staff to a special preview screening and would be grateful for your support of my film.

Sincerely, Kevin Costner

Even is kind a general one, Kevin’s invitation is worth to be considered.

Here is a Discussion Guide about a few themes embedded into the movie. – BLACKORWHITE_Guide

In fata solicitarii de a nu promova credinta crestina prin piese ei Carrie Underwood a raspuns: “I’m not the first person to sing about God, Jesus, faith or any of that, and I won’t be the last. And it won’t be the last for me, either. If you don’t like it, change the channel.”

Daca nu poti sa intelegi versurile piesei iata cateva:

He said, “I’ve been where you’ve been before.
Down every hallway’s a slamming door.
No way out, no one to come and save me.
Wasting a life that the Good Lord gave me.
Then somebody said what I’m saying to you,
Opened my eyes and told me the truth.”
They said, “Just a little faith, it’ll all get better.”
So I followed that preacher man down to the river and now I’m changed
 And now I’m stronger
There must’ve been something in the water
Oh, there must’ve been something in the water
