Almighty God, our Father, everything we see, and everything we cant see, exists because of You alone. It all comes from You, it all belongs to You, it all exists for Your glory. History is your story.

Cand e vorba de celebritate, nici nu stii cum sa te uiti la ea…parintii anonimi ai unor copii celebrii sau parintii celebrii ai unor copii anonimi…sa existe si parinti celebri cu copii celebrii…? Dar celebritatea e si ea subiectiva deseori…
Susanna Wesley s-a nascut intr-o zi rotunda, 20 Ianuarie 1669 si n-a devenit celebra/cunoscuta pentru ca a fost mama lui John Wesley si Charles Wesley. Pana ca cei doi copii ai ei sa devina renumiti datorita interpretarii Bibliei si compunerii cantecelor crestine, Susanna a fost una din cele mai remarcabile femei evanghelice ale secolului 18.
Dupa ce presa a prezentat cu incantare faptul ca autobuze apartinand transportului public afiseaza mesaj ateiste si in Italia, un sofer crestin britanic a refuzat sa conduca unul din autobuzele pe care era scris sgloganul ateist “There’s probably no God”.
Ron Heather, din Southampton, Hampshire, a fost socat si ingrozit de mesajul pe care l-a vazut si a protestat nedorind sa conduca sambata autobuzul.

Bless us with tears – for a world in which over a billion people exist on less than a dollar a day, where young women from many lands are beaten and raped for wanting an education, and thousands die daily from malnutrition, malaria, and AIDS.
Bless us with anger – at discrimination, at home and abroad, against refugees and immigrants, women, people of color, gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people.
